Important Notice

Due to a technical issue, the Paper Submission Deadline has been extended until June 30, 2026. This is the final extension. Authors are encouraged to complete their submissions before the new deadline. Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to receiving your contributions.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be written in English and formatted according to the Springer Computer Science Proceedings template.

Submissions must be original and must not be simultaneously submitted to another conference or journal, nor be under review or previously published. All submissions will be evaluated by at least two reviewers.

Papers should be submitted electronically via the EasyChair platform.

Submission Formats

WAF 2026 accepts different types of contributions covering research results, work in progress, and practical demonstrations.

Regular papers

6 – 10 pages incl. references — oral presentation

(~10 minutes)

Posters

4 pages — poster session with spotlight discussion

Thesis proposals

2 pages — oral presentation

(~10 minutes)

Journal papers

1 page abstract — oral presentation

(~10 minutes)

Position papers

4 – 8 pages — oral presentation

(~10 minutes)

Demos (associated with submitted papers)

2 pages — live demonstration or video presentation

The number of pages is approximate.

Additional Notes

  • At least one author of each accepted paper must attend the conference and present the work.
  • Accepted demonstration papers must include a live demonstration or video presentation during the workshop.
